Handmade Leather 1911 Holsters
The 1911 and leather belong together. More than a century after John Browning designed it, the 1911 is still carried in leather by people who appreciate a steel pistol and a holster that looks as good as it works. Every Luna Prime holster is cut and hand-molded to the exact 1911 model you choose, from genuine cowhide leather, in our leather workshop in Türkiye.
1911s are made by many companies, and they are not all the same shape. Slide length, rail or no rail, grip safety and frame details all change the fit. That is why we mold for the specific make and model, not a generic “1911”. Prices start at $29, delivery to the US takes 5–10 business days, and every holster is available for right- or left-handed shooters.

1911 Holster FAQ
Will any 1911 holster fit my 1911?
Not reliably. A Government-size holster will not fit a Commander properly, and a railed 1911 needs a holster molded for the rail. Choose your exact make and model in the Gun Models menu.
Is a thumb-break holster better for a 1911?
Many owners prefer it. A 1911 is usually carried cocked and locked (hammer back, safety on), and a thumb-break strap sits between the hammer and the slide for extra security. Open-top holsters are faster to draw from.
Do you make left-handed 1911 holsters?
Yes. Every holster and magazine pouch is available in right-hand and left-hand versions at the same price.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed in 1–3 business days. Delivery to the US takes 5–10 business days, and shipping is free on orders over $250. Unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
